Max is Five!

We just celebrated Max's fifth birthday! Where does the time go? I find that I ask myself that question a lot since having children. They do grow up so fast.

Here's Max the morning of his birthday
jumping on our spare bed! He was very excited
that it was finally his birthday.

We told Max we would do whatever he wanted
for the day. He chose mountain climbing! We
found a place not to far away from the house. The kids
had a great time and wanted to go higher and higher.

We managed to climb quite high. You can
just barely see people walking on the path below.

Kayla and Max took a quick break before we
headed back down. Then, we found one of
Max's favorite treats - ice cream!


Of course, no birthday is complete without cake! He
chose to have a chocolate cake decorated by Mom!
(It was nothing grand to look at, but it tasted great!)


Blow out those candles!

Let's open some presents.
